Toronto has an interesting collection of lane-way houses that were built in small corridors between larger streets 100 years ago. I have thousands of images of them and have posted only my favourites. Toronto currently has over 2400 lane-ways and have recently changed bylaws on how to develop houses in these spaces in the early 2020's. Most of them are South of Bloor and extend mostly from the older sections East and West with a few along the the Danforth and East York. I've found some of the more interesting sections along Christie, Bloor, Ossington and Spadina in Kensington & Chinatown. They are pretty unpredictable in length and some will randomly dead-end so you will need to retrace your steps.
